It was the second of the visits framed within the Footwear Day organized by the Department of Industry and concluded last Friday.
Lourdes Yáñez, as councilor of Industry, along with the mayor of Local Development, Neus Ochoa, have accompanied today the students of FPB of IES José Marhuenda Prats in the second day of visits that has been included in the Days of Footwear that are taking place.
After visiting previously two factories in the industrial area of El Cabezo, on Friday they moved to the company CAMBRILLONES JOVER, S.L.U. Jover to know, from the hand of those responsible, the 3rd generation, how are the facilities, located in Camino del Prado street, and to know what are the steel and iron cambrillones for which this family business is known that has a history of 54 years manufacturing these components for footwear.
The mayor of Industry, Lourdes Yáñez, thanked the collaboration of IES José Marhuenda Prats for collaborating in these days and encourage these visits that young people have an approach to a sector so important to the economy of the municipality.
